Business tools for the military: how the UCU Center for Leadership and Come Back Alive foundation train military officers

Lviv Business School of the UCU and the UCU Center for Leadership, jointly with the Come Back Alive Foundation, implement “The Management and Leadership in a Military Unit” program for military officers. From April 15 till April 17, the course has already been completed by the servicemen of the 28th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. By the end of the year, approximately 120 military officers from the six brigades will have participated in the training.

The program is targeted at military officers – commanders of the troops and commanders of other units of the brigade with similar tasks. The purpose of this program is to provide the participants with effective tools for managing a directly subordinate contingent. The program is based on the studies of the Ukrainian military conducted by the UCU Center for Leadership jointly with the Lviv Business School.

After completing the program, the Ukrainian military will master the purpose-defining and task-setting technique, will acquire the skills of planning their activities and those of subordinates, will learn to monitor the execution of delegated tasks and provide feedback, get acquainted with a leadership character development model.
